Product Description

Heavy-duty racking helps factories, warehouses and other storage facilities function more efficiently by providing a suitable arrangement for the goods they hold.

Choosing a system involves more than the stock alone. The products being stored, the building or location in which the racks will stand, and the materials used to construct them all influence which arrangement is appropriate.

Understanding Heavy-Duty Racking

An appropriate heavy-duty racking and shelving arrangement is an important investment when productivity and safety matter to your operation. The selected system should support the work your company carries out, rather than introduce storage limitations that affect everyday performance.

Allow time to assess individual units and research the available choices before committing to a system. Looking closely at how each option fits your operations helps avoid an unsuitable purchase. Choosing racks that do not meet your requirements can lead to additional expenditure and put unnecessary pressure on the budget.

The frame incorporates two cold-formed, multi-sheet omega-section uprights to improve resistance to compression and bending. Its base plate is dimensioned to spread the load from each upright onto the building floor, forming part of the overall heavy-duty racking structure.

Two rows of slots on the front of each upright anchor the beams laterally. A further two lateral rows, one on either side, provide connections for the bracing and positioning points for auxiliary components. The upright slots allow beam heights to be adjusted vertically in increments of 60mm, so levels can be set to suit storage requirements.

Connectors are fitted at both ends of each beam. Positioned in the beam slots, these connectors create a wedge action that forms a firm joint between the two components, securing the beam connection within the racking structure.

Choosing Heavy-Duty Racks and Shelving

With guidance from BSM Racking, your business can select heavy-duty racking as part of a warehouse storage solution that uses space effectively and supports logistics. Matching storage to the flow of goods helps work progress more smoothly and supports improved productivity throughout daily warehouse operations.

Finding suitable heavy-duty racks and shelving starts with comparing the products available against your own business requirements. Review how each system would support operations, then weigh that against your finances, production levels and other practical considerations. This assessment helps you identify an arrangement that fits your company, rather than selecting equipment without considering how it will be used.

If you are reviewing existing facilities or planning storage around new business demands in Singapore, contact BSM Racking. Our staff will work with you professionally to identify an effective heavy-duty racking solution, taking your requirements into account as you consider how to improve the storage arrangement.
