| The Worktainer’s plastic base plate reduces noise during goods handling, folding and set-up, helping create a quieter workplace in Singapore. Company testing recorded transport noise of about 87dB with a plastic base plate, compared with 92dB for a steel base plate. With the optional silent pipe specification, noise falls further to about 65dB. These comparisons are based on company tests. Quiet folding and set-up also improve the working environment. The lightweight plastic base makes the Worktainer easier to operate and allows greater loading volume on trucks.
